Monkey's Mommy: Hawaii To Tennessee

Ian got to meet his paw paw for the first time on aug 19th 2009. We flew out of Hawaii on the 18th and it took us 11 hours to reach the Memphis airport. Ian was a champ on the plane. He slept the entire time and woke up while we changed planes got a diaper changed and a fresh sippy cup and back to sleep he went. My family was waiting on us at the airport and lets just say lots of tears fell in that airport. We had such a good visit. We got to see alot of our family. Ian went to his first football game at the highschool where i grew up. Although Ian didnt take very well to the family I was happy everyone got to meet him. Poor guy didnt sleep good and if anyone beside me, his daddy, his nana or paw paw held him he would just cry. The week went by very fast and I enjoyed having my niece with me the whole visit. It was so hard to say good bye all over again. The plane ride home was just as good as going. Ian slept the whole time. When we got home Ian touched everything in the living room as if he was making sure everything was still there. It was so precious. So thats it . It was a fast week visit but worth every minute of it.
