my where has the time gone

I can't believe it has been so long since i have posted a update. So here goes.

Surgery was Aug 16th 2010 i made my first goal of 50lbs lost before surgery like i wanted too. Everything with surgery went wonderful.

ok lets skip all the complications that happen and lets get to present day :)

As of Nov 15th 2010 ive los
t 142lbs. Amazing Right?


woo hoo :) so ill try my hardest to keep this thing updated more often :)

ok so my fat intake is alil high but we are working on this :)

so breakfast was alittle late today due to weigh in .. woot woot 2lbs gone this week (total loss in 2 weeks 5lbs)

i will say that dinner took me almost 30minutes to eat

so this morning i had breakfast with a good friend and she is helping learn how to make good healthy choices and how to make some really yummy stuff :)

but today was the day i found out i had to do 2500calorie diet and had to get in 200g of protein.

ww cream cheese ( i very rarely use mayo)

just if anyone is wondering.. im suppose to be eatting 7-8 small meals a day now. 4 small meals and 4 snacks. just wanted to clarify that lol

So ive decided im going to use this for an everything blog lol updates on my family and our new lifestyle lol. so be prepared to be either bored or really entertained lol.

so my daily calorie intake that day was:

ok so yeah this was considered a very low day. as of today's date im on a 2500 calorie diet and 200 of that has to be straight protein.

1c oatmeal with 2 packs of splenda and 2 sprays of zero everything butter

2 grilled ckn wraps
dr pepper ( last one ive had)

dinner
6oz sirloin steak
mashed potatoes (plain not loaded)
house salad with a low fat ranch
unsweet tea with equal packet

its so different now when im having to watch every little thing i have to put in my mouth.

Weight Loss Journey

So the reality is I have a very long journey ahead of myself. I'm trying to get through this the best way I can. Why is food such an addiction? Why is it when I'm happy, sad, lonely or bored i want to indulge in something. Whoever said dieting was easy must be as skinny as a a sheet of paper :) but let me stop being so negative. These past couple weeks have been so refreshing and cleansing. I'm looking forward to the upcoming weeks, weigh ins and appointments. I'm just keeping my eyes set to the end of the tunnel. I'm almost to my 50lb goal. Bring on Wednesday :)

Hello All

Hello everyone :)
Today is May 3rd 2010

Oh so much has been going on since I last posted. Ian is 18 months old weighing in at 32lbs and is 35in tall. He is getting so big and his vocabulary
is getting bigger. I just can't get over how big he is getting.

Will is working alot and hardly home but that is all part of the job. :)

As for me, I'm beginning a new chapter in my life. I'm letting go of things and i'm going to concentrate on my family (Will, Ian and myself) I'm starting a new class today for college. Nothing else is really going on. I've learned alot in the last couple of weeks and i'm pretty sure these burns are going to stay with me. Oh well just another day right lol.

Our weekend

We have had such a great weekend even know Will had duty on Sunday. But he was lucky enough to have Monday off:) I just love my hubby so much. He works so hard to give Ian and I a good life. I have no idea where i would be without him. William i love you sooooo much :) As for mr cranky pants he is cutting another tooth and this one isnt agreeing with him. He wants to be held 24/7 and all he does is drool. The other night he fell asleep on me and it looked like i was lactating lol ha ha ha. But nothing much is going on in our neck of the woods.. Just going day by day with my lil Ohana (means family) and spending extra time with monkey and Will. So I hope everyone has had a great weekend also. I'm sure ill post more this week.:) love yall

Command Holiday Party

We had such a good time.. The command hosted a holiday party at Bellows beach. Ian had a blast and will won another xbox 360 lol like he needs another one .. oh well he was pretty excited :) They had lots of food and activities and meeting new people was always fun :) enjoy the pics..

Beach Fun


i didnt do this but it fits my post :)


And the date is Jan 9th 2010 lol

So Will, Ian and I along with another couple went to Bellows beach and spent the whole day there. It was sooooooooooo relaxing and peaceful. Ian played in the sand for the first time ever and he seemed to enjoy it very much :) Here are some pics from our day :)



My new journey

Well let me just has already begun. I'm sorry i haven't been doing better at keeping up with the blog i'm trying :) So much has been going on lately. On Dec 23rd 2009 i went for my first appointment and had my initial weigh in (which i broke down and cried) i hadnt been on a scale in a really long time and well it was a touch of reality. I'm fat yes we all know this lol but im on a road to change. After my appointment will and i left there knowing this was the best route for me to take and I HAVE DECIDED i'm having gastric bypass done. So on to the next step :) I've been watching what i eat and walking some (more then i did before but not enough) and trying to get further and further with each step. Well the 3 weeks flew by and it was time for another appointment Jan 12th 2010. I went for Phase I (lean program) and had to weigh and yes i was so happy as i stepped off the scale.. i have lost......... ha ha not telling just yet.. im wanting to do a month total:) so you will have to wait. I learned alot of stuff at this class and im continuing to log my food and exercise. My next appointment is Jan 27th and i will be entering Phase II. I will try my hardest to blog about new recipes i try (low cal ones) and continue to blog on my weight loss journey.

So for New Years we went out to eat at Outback with friends which is always fun then everyone parted their own separate ways. Will stopped on our way home and got champagne and we headed home. So at 11:30pm I look over and see my hubby snoring. By the time Ian has been asleep for several hours. So Will woke up at 11:58pm watched the count down gave me a kiss and we both went to sleep. I think we are getting old lol :)

Can you belive it!!

I'm going back to college lol .. My 1st class starts on Feb. 1st and I'm so nervous.. Who would have thought at the age of 30 I would be going back to school. My major is Associates in Public Health and I'll be attending American Military University (AMU) :) Just thought I would share my exciting news

Merry Christmas

MERRRRRRRRRRRRY CHRISTMAS

Today was so great :) Nothing like waking up on Christmas morning to an excited little boy and excited husband. Today was the best Christmas ever. So monkey seemed to really enjoy this christmas he even helped his daddy open presents :) Also thanks to Amanda for letting us come and spend some time with you and your family. The only thing that would have made it more special would be being in Tennessee with our family.

So this year we decided to do Christmas Eve with our friends so that on Christmas Day it would be just our little Ohana.. It was a great day and night which lead to mario party till 2am :) Im so blessed to have such amazing friends here. It is so hard as a military family to be away from our loved ones. Thanksgiving 2009


So this year we had a very nice quiet Thanksgiving dinner :) It was just us, another couple and a friend of ours. We enjoyed the day and were very thankful that we had our military family to share this day with. Ian pigged out but when does he not lol :) I cooked the bird again this year with yet another phone call to my grandma lol gosh when will i ever get it right lol .
